Completely vegan recipe depending on the type of protein powder you use
Ingredients (makes 6 pancakes):
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 scoops AAN chocolate protein (plant-based or whey isolate)
1 ½ tbsp. baking powder
2 cups almond milk
2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
Chocolate chips (optional)
Agave or syrup for toppings
Add all dry ingredients above into a bowl & stir.
Add milk and oil.
Drop pancake mixture into the frying pan or grill.
The amount of batter that you add will depend on the size you want the pancakes to be.
Cook pancakes until they begin to bubble on top or until the edges turn golden brown.
Flip pancakes and let cook 5 more minutes.
Top the pancakes with vegan butter & agave or syrup.
